The fundamental nature of the Moonbeam project and the support of the best crypto community.
Recently, we watched the battle of two titans for the parachain slot on Polkadot. Acala took the first slot, Moonbeam took the second. Moonbeam has a larger and friendlier community, and the largest number of DOT token holders participated in it. Acala also used bots (using funds raised from 2 rounds of community private sales and bakers ‘ funds), which tried to outbid Moonbeam in order to win the first slot at any cost. Many in the Moonbeam community were upset that they didn’t win the first slot. But whether it is the first slot that is so important, the launch of the first 5 parachains will be after December 17 and does not depend on the primacy of each slot. Looking at the Kusama network and the first parachains in it, we see that the main thing is the fundamental nature of the project, its idea, and the readiness of developments. Karura also won the first slot, but Moonriver contributes more to the crypto industry: a huge number of transactions, launched projects (NFT, DeFi)and still planned to launch. Many projects from the Etherium network have also been launched on Moonriver on the Kusama network and will be launched on Moonbeam on the Polkadot network in the future.
Many people will say, well, of course, another ambassador or member of the Moonbeam community. Yes, I am an ambassador, but also an early investor in Acala and Moonbeam. But in quantitative terms, I invested much more in Acala. So I have skin in the game. But I believe more in the fundamental idea of Moonbeam.
Why is Moonbeam more fundamental, because hundreds of Acals can be built on Moonbeam. It’s layer 1 like Etherium. Polkadot is Layer 0-the foundation/base for creating any projects. Polkadot is more fundamental than Moonbeam, Moonbeam is more fundamental than Acala. One example, I think it will be enough. Recently, the decentralized derivatives exchange dTrade announced the launch on Moonriver on the Kusama network, and also announced the launch on the Polkadot network on Moonbeam. And this is one of many DeFi projects launching on Moonbeam. There are also a huge number of projects from this sector that will come from the Etherium network.
